Touch – A – Truck

                       2018 Touch-A-Truck Flyer

Save the Date! Touch a Truck will be returning to the Mansfield Municipal Airport on Saturday, September 22, 2018! The Mansfield Women of Today and C&S Insurance will be hosting this year’s event. This is the area’s largest Touch a Truck event with over 30 vehicles on display. In past years, we have had police cars, fire trucks, an ambulance, a cement truck, snow plows, construction vehicles, landscaping equipment, a Mass transit bus, a bucket truck, flight simulator, small aircraft, and so much more!

Touch a Truck will run from 9am – 2pm, with the first hour being a quiet hour for those with sensitive ears. There will be no music or horn blowing until 10 am.

In addition to checking out all the cool trucks and meeting the owners and drivers of these vehicles, there will be a DJ playing your favorite tunes, food for purchase, free tattoos, and fun activities for the kiddos. Come join us to get up close and explore some huge trucks!

Suggested donation of $15 per family with all proceeds going to local charities and non-profits.

2017 Scholarship Recipients

The Mansfield Women of Today awarded two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors:

Jessica Hanley from Mansfield High School

Juliana DeSimone from Bishop Feehan

The two students demonstrated the ideals and philosophies of MWOT, which include serving the community, committing to strengthening individual talents and standing united by friendship and belief in the future.

Letters from Santa

As we all know, this is Santa’s extremely busy time of the year.  It’s time to put the cookies down, do some quality control on the toys in his workshop, make sure the reindeer are in tip top shape for their whirlwind trip around the globe next month and most importantly, make sure he gets personalized letters out to any child around the world who would like to receive one in the days leading up to Christmas.

MWOT was honored to be asked, once again, by the elves to help streamline this process for Santa.  MWOT will help by providing you with the request forms for the letters.  Just fill out the form and have it postmarked by 12/7.  We will take care of the rest.  Letters should be mailed around 12/16 and arrive no later than 12/20. We ask for a $5 donation per letter; donations will be put towards the many local charities that MWOT supports.  Please see a listing of some of the charities we have donated to in the past on this website.

MWOT members will be handing out request forms during the Mansfield holiday parade on Sunday, 11/27.  Please click here for a copy of the request form: 2016-request-form

Remember, Santa writes to any child, no matter where they live! We are helping with his US letters so feel free to send a request for a child no matter where in the continental US they might live.
