MWOT Volunteers Deliver Food Baskets

For the past 30 years, Mansfield Women of Today members have been delivering holiday food baskets to some wonderful local families.  The tradition continued this year, with baskets being delivered to fifteen families.  The baskets included a variety of nonperishable food, a gift card to Stop & Shop for a ham or turkey, an amaryllis plant and some delicious homemade fudge.  Food was delivered on a festive tray and topped with a bow made by members Karen McCabe and Jeanne Hagar.  Two local Girl Scout troops made homemade soap and holiday cards to include with the baskets.  Baskets were assembled by member Carol Shachat.

Member Eileen DiMarino carries a holiday basket for delivery to a local family.
